Capital Sound has been established for over 35 years. Now part of the Solotech UK Group, it is located in Park Royal, London.
While Capital Sound operates as its own brand, serving its own client base it can access the UK group’s considerable resources, including its large hire inventory comprising L-Acoustics and d&b audiotechnik audio systems, together with the largest rental stock of digital mixing consoles in the UK.
This builds on Capital Sound’s established ‘freedom of choice’ policy, which in essence is about offering its rental customers a wider choice of equipment to rent. It also offers both SSE Audio and Wigwam Hire the scope to provide both Martin Audio and Outline systems as options.
Amongst the many internationally recognised performers using Capital Sound as their principal live audio suppliers are The Killers, Pet Shop Boys, The Stereophonics, and Sigur Ros. along with many renowned brands including Sony, Universal, Nike, Red Bull and Armani.
Capital Sound is also responsible for the audio at an array of premier outdoor productions, most notably, BBC Proms in the Park, Sziget Festival and the British Summertime Hyde Park Concerts
