Now into its 5th year the Happy Days Festival creates a musical celebration of the 70s. 80s, and 90s. The festival is nestled in a quant and picturesque part of the country in the heart of Surrey, Imber Court Sports club and hosts some 5,000 eager attendees.
Blending 3 decades of music. Saturday’s SKA day featured; Happy Mondays, From The Jam (with Bruce Foxton), Neville Staple & Band, The Slecter, The Beat and Scarlett’s. Soul Sunday featured; Lisa Stansfield, Roy Ayers, Shalamar (featuring Jody) Alison Limerick, CeCe Peniston and Nate James. This brings some of the truly established acts of both genres to the table making it a must-go event for fans of this cool and grooving sound.
2015 saw the debut of a small Martin Audio MLA-Compact System at Happy Days Festival. The MLA-Compact system and Martin Audio WS218X Subs in a distributed Sub Array gave extremely consistent results over the 55m audience plane.FOH Console was a Digidesign Profile, MON Console was a Soundcraft Vi6, d&b M4 Wedges were used onstage, a mixture of Shure and Sennheiser Mics and IEM’s were used to service Artist specific requests.
